Support Group in Hartford

Hi all, Does anyone have any info on Support Groups at St. Francis in Hartford, CT? I would like to start going, but haven't been able to find anything out. I'm 7 months post op, down 97 lbs. My surgeon is 2 hours away so I would like to find a Support Group closer. Thanks! Lynne

Hi Lynne We have a support group next Monday at UConn you are very welcome to attend. Email me at [email protected] and I will be happy to give you directions. At our next meeting we are going to have one of our own OH Members, Kim help us through the internet maze and find sites that give out free samples of protein. This is the following Support Groups at St. Francis hospital in Hartford: For Gastric Bypass: Last Tuesday of each month from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Gengras Auditorium The next meeting this month is on April 27th For Lap Band : Third Tuesday of each month from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Gengras Auditorium The next meeting this month is on April 20th I am in the process of getting approved for the Lap Band Surgery. I have seen the Psychologist and will go tomorrow to see the Pulmonary Specialist. I attended my first Support Group meeting on March 30th.
