I must really really love my niece!!
Guess what I did today? Well first I went to Bob's to shop for some Huskie Wear..... Have to be prepared you know. Then I came home and baked about 28 dozen cookies for my nieces wedding shower on April 17th. My back is killing me but.......tomorrow is another day and I have more cookies to bake . You know I wasn't even tempted and I love home made cookies. I hardly ate anything either. I guess being to tired to eat is a good thing. Today was the rollo cookies (choc with a rollo candy in the center) and anjenettes (sp?). Tomorrow is butter cookies with a candied cherry on them and then peanut butter cookies with hershy kisses. I was also going to make those Mexican Wedding Balls or Snowballs (lost of different names for the same cookie) but I don't think my back will last that long. Good thing I took off a couple of extra days before my trip. I will let you all know how the plane ride goes. I am really looking foward to seeing how I fit in the seat. Should be a great time but eating will be interesting. Have a good one everyone...........oh Cheryl did you send on those pics yet?
Linda
Your killing me with these cookies!! They were my weakness, I could eat an entire box of Girl Scout choc mints. I used to make hersey kiss cookies and then not have enough kisses left for the dough. Oh the memories!!
I did send the pics in and waiting. I emailed her and asked when they'd be ready and she said she was working on them. I bet we'll see them next week!!
BTW, I am so excited for you going to New Orleans!! Minnesota looks pretty strong. That one girl is as big as Liz Sherwood.
I am leaving for Mohegan Sun in the morning with my DH for an overnight get away. He is paying for me to have a 50 minute massage! I've NEVER had one!
And guess what??? FRIDAY IS MY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!! 4/2/03 I weighed 290 4/2/04 165. Am I amazed?? You betcha!!
love to all!
Cheryl
All I can say is WOW Linda. You are truly a loving aunt. Thank your lucky stars that I wasn't there with ya, or I'd probably be eating them as you make them...Baked goods is my weakness and I think the food I'm going to miss the most when I'm post op. Oh well, small price to pay to better my health I guess.
Take Care,
Maggie

Linda, YUM!!! What a nice Aunt to make all those cookies.... let alone.... doing it after gastric bypass surgery. I hope you have a great time on your trip.
P.S. I can't wait to see the pics you took at the get together. Do you know when they will be up?
