Accident after Ruby's

So I'm leaving Cromwell, at the stop light near Stop n" Shop, when all of a sudden a car rear ends me.  Crap!  My car now has a broken bumper and smashed tailgate.  Needless to say, I did not get to Old Saybrook in time and my dh found out I had eaten out.  I think Dave cursed me.  Just kidding.  I just got home now and I'm shaken and besides that my dh is mad.  Great night, otherwise, though. Jen, At least you're ok. You are, right? Tell hubby "thanks for caring about my welfare...jeez, did he even ask how you were instead of getting mad that you ate out?"  You are an adult and have free will and sometimes need outside stimulation with other adults in the same situation... The car is fixable..you might not have been if it was worse. Hang in there and get any pains your'e having today checked out.  They can show up a day or two later. paula

No, really, just kidding.  I was thinking about when you said my dh might accidentally come in to Ruby Tuesday's and find out I was eating dinner.  At the time, I was thinking...no, there's no way he'd find out.  Unfortunately, he figured it out when I said the accident was in Cromwell.  He wasn't really mad or anything...just  a little irritated.  My car wasn't registered so...that didn't help.
