A little bit of this, a little bit of that.......
Good Morning Everyone ,
I just thought I would update you all on a few things. First off I spoke to Mary Lou last night and if all goes according to plan she should be discharged from Gaylord on the 18th (Thursday) :JUMP. That is soooo exciting. She has been in a hospital of some sort or another since the last week in December so she is more than ready to be home in her own I want to bring her with me to Saturday's get together but it is probably too soon for her to be out for that long a time, however we will have a toast for her
I have had a really busy week whi*****luded another sleep study . I continue to have issues and am not sure if I know what a good night's sleep is anymore. I have a cpap and have struggled with it before and after surgery. As much as I hate it, my doctor has reminded me that untreated sleep apnea slows down your metabolism and that means not losing weight as quickly as one might otherwise. Sooooo.......I am ing to the experts and vowing to use my machine regularly. \
On a lighter note I can't wait for my trip to New Orleans!! I am dying to be on the plane and fit into the seat!! It is amazing how many more things I can do comfortably now or at least do at all. Oh did I tell you all about the Latin Impact Aerobics class I took last week? Yep....it was alot of fun. Salsa dancing as aerobics. Hard work though but I made it through the hour. Am on my way to the gym this morning for another water aerobics class and then to get my hair done and then cook for my brother in laws suprise 50th birthday party tonight. I also have to start baking dozen and I mean dozens..... of cookies for my nieces wedding shower in April. I told you all I was busy!!!! Can't wait for next Saturday to actually meet many of you and be able to chat in real time. Take care all and have a good one!! Go HUSKIES!!!
Linda
Hi there Linda!
Thanks for the update! So glad to hear Mary Lou is finally going to get to go home and continue her recovery on her own turf!
I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with the sleep apnea. Give the cpap the due diligence you know you need to and it will reward you in the end I'm sure with giving you a healthier body!
As for the rest of that story - WOW you are truly a busy woman! I don't know how you manage it all!
The Latin dancing sounds great - is that at the LA place? Can't wait to sign up and join you there!!! (MaryJo - you gonna come too??)
Well Linda - happy Baking! And have a WONDERFUL trip to New Orleans!!!
Hugs,
Carla
