I'M BEING TORTURED!!!!!!!

Some advice please on how to "pleasantly" advise my boss to get his flippin' Girl Scout cookies out of my area!!! It was bad enough when he was selling them for his daughter, putting the sign-up sheet on the file cabinet in front of my desk (luckily I'm short so I can't see over my desk for 100% eye contact, but if I raised my chair I could see it!!) with his daughter's picture, etc., but now the cookies are in. Several packages were opened & left to sit outside on that same cabinet -- I could reach over & grab a sheet of cookies if the urge overtook me! I've mentioned in passing that he was trying to kill me, begged people to eat them or take them, and yet here they sit. It's making me a little nuts, as you can see! He's otherwise a nice guy, but he's a big eater & I don't think the others in the area understand how hard it is. Should I just stealthily move them to another part of the office? Thanks for your help!

Yes!! Get them out of your site and when you're asked what happened to them, let him know that you were too tempted with them there so you moved them. If he dosen't understand, that's His problem! Christine

GET rid of the cookies. I have a co-worker who brought in a case of big bars of candy to sell for her childs trip. Alot of companys have policys on not bringing that stuff into work. Still people do it and no one wants to be the nasty person who says get rid of it. I gave her money and told her to keep the candy that she should concider it a donation. I wonder if she eats it herself? People don't understand how difficult it is to leave that out. My kids have kept asking me when the girl scout cookies are coming in. So far they havent which is fine with me! hahah I bought them from a neighbor down the street and am hoping she's forgotten which house I am! If they do come here they will be given to my kids. Each of them knows I've bought a box for them.

TEll him that you'll glad pay him to move it. If you buy a box of cookies, the troup makes $.75. Give him $ 4.00 if he moves it. You will save your sanity (what is left), and his troop will enjoy the $$$. Peter

The offending cookies are gone!! I moved what was left last night, and there was one package there again this morning -- I went in to the one guy I knew who ate those cookies & demanded he keep them for himself. Another disaster averted!! Kathy

LOL, my suggestion would be to bring in a hammer, grab those cookies and just leave the crumbled box on his desk.. I'm sure that will get his attention .
