Yes, today I received a call from Dr. Barajas office indicating me that my surgery day is May 3. Obviously it all depends in the results of my endoscope and blood test. Now start the down counting.

Hey John, Congratulations on your surgery date. Mine is April 27, just a few days before then. Where are you having your surgery? Mine is with Dr. Ehrlich at Norwalk Hospital. Hope your tests go smoothly and the results are just what you need. All the best to you! Linda.

Congrats John! It will be here before you know it! I had open RNY with DR. Reinhold on 1/21/04. He has a good group with him, they are very experienced so you are in good hands! I have had no complications (knock on wood) and everything has been going great. Yesterday I had my 6 week check up with them and I am down 36 pounds, and feeling great! Good luck with your surgery and with your journey. I am sure you will do great! Just listen and follow directions and you will do fine. Best wishes! MaryJo
