Looking for George and another ?

Hi all! I'm looking for a person named George who was kind enough to help me get down the stairs at the hospital auditorium last Sept 2nd. I went to an informational meeting for WL surgeries done by Drs. Floch & Ehrlich. Since I walk with crutches I had a hard time doing stairs. I have since had lap. roux-n-y surgery 1 month ago. It was not easy, but I'm glad I did it. I have lost 28 lbs so far. How long do people have to stay off anti-inflammatory (arthritis) medicine?

Hey, Donna! I was at that meeting, too! I don't know which George may have helped you, but there is a man named George who comes to Drs Floch and Ehrlich's support groups . . . Have you been to any of the meetings? Maybe you'll spot him.

Hi,Bette, Thanks for your reply! I'm sure that must be him. No, I haven't been to any of the meetings yet because I don't drive at night. I will try to figure out how to get to one soon. I forget, are you pre-op, post op, or still thinking about WLS? I like to hear other people's stories. Take care, Donna
