how did you get the results of any medical testing?? I had an echo-cardiogram 2/25 and I would like to know if they found any problems. I called the cardio office fri and they said I have to contact Dr Aranow. I called Dr. Aranows office and asked for the results of this test. they said I must come in and get weighed and linda (or whover) would go over test results with me. Is this standard procedure for all medical tests. I going to meet with nutritionist mon so I will stop into Dr. Aranows office I just find this weird....I'm worried there is a serious problem and I won't be able to have the surgery. any info would be appreciated thanks Angel

Frankly, I don't think that Dr. A reviews test results as they come in. I believe he waits unitl they are all in and then reviews your case. Just try to hang in there. I don't see any reason for you to be worried that something is wrong. I know sometimes it seems that this stuff takes forever, and sometimes it does take a LONG time. BUt, you will get through it. If it does turn out that there is some sort of a problem, Dr. A will work it out with you to make sure everything is in order and if you need additional tests or such, it will ll be worked out. Try to hang in there! Good luck to you! Lisa C a patient of Dr. A. 16 mos post op. start wt 306/current wt 145 (at goal and beyond!)

You can always make an appointment with the cardiologist and review the results. I believe in my heart if there was something major, you should have already been in the office. They would not want you walking around risking any injury. Peter
