Protein Challenge

I am almost a year out (4/2) and my weight loss has stalled. So has my angelette Kims. We talked a great deal about what she eats and does for activity and really, this women does everything right. So we decided that for at least half a week for her to go back on only protein drinks and the like. So then I thought, why don't I do it too?? So I am. Next Weds. only protein drinks. UnJury, Atkins, whatever is good tasting for you. I know I can do it for a few days. So anyone else who's loss is stalled, join us!! The thing that is appealing to me is it's short term. I have heard others that are 8 months and more out do this and it jump starts their loss again. Let us know if you want to hop on this protein caboose. We need to do it of course before the CT Get-together!! hugz to all Cheryl

Cheryl: Of course you KNOW that I'll be onboard. For everyone else: I just want to clarify... I'm not doing this because of a 1 week, 2 week, or even 3 week weight loss stall. Nope this is a full-blown Plateau! (2 months) (It hurts to even type that) I've made all the suggested changes to help jumpstart the weight loss (increase protein, increase water intake, decrease carb intake, and increase exercise) but to no avail. So when the thought came to us to go back to the newly post-op diet of liquids and protein shakes only... I figured that its worth a shot. If anyone else is in the same boat... it would be fun to have you join us. Keep me posted on your progress through the process.
