Trying on Clothes is Getting Fun Again!

This weekend I finally went through all the clothes that I've shrunk out of -- ended up giving away 4 full trash bags of clothing! My closet is looking very empty these days, but so is my wallet. I went to my Mom's over the weekend, and she had lost about 40-50 lbs. in the last couple of years and is now about 115 lbs. (if I didn't love her so much I'd hate her!) So I ended up raiding her closet for some things that no longer fit her. I started the surgery (11/4/03) in size 22s and occasional 20s. I brought home a size 14 blouse that actually fit (that's amazing for me -- pre-surgery I was a 44DD), a couple of MEDIUM and Large sweaters, and a pair of pants from the store Express in size Large!!!! I can't believe my butt can fit into a pair of regular size large pants!! I just had to share my shrinking story with folks who understand. Happy losing to all. Kathy
