Linda L - Complications

Hi All - Sorry to report that my angelette Linda L has had a minor setback. She was doing so fabulously 1 week post-op, all set to move onto stage 4, but then she started having pains in the stomach and vomiting and finally spiked a fever of 102.8! Anyways - they rushed her back into the hospital, did a CTScan and had to reopen her up. Her bowel ended up twisted (how does THAT happen?). The report is she's feeling fine now but will be in the hospital at least over the weekend. And I know she's going to hate this part - she's starting all over again at stage1. Geesh - I know she can't wait for me to catch up to her but this is just NOT the way to do it Linda! Anyways - please include her in your thoughts and prayers again and send her your well wishes everyone! Let's make sure she gets out of the hospital and stays out this time!!! Hugs all! Carla

Carla, I am so sorry to hear about Linda. I heard that happen to someone else on the main boards last year. In her case, it had something to do with how long the surgery took and them putting her guts back in. I am so glad they caught it early and she is in good hands. Carla- you are such a great angel.
