Thank you to everyone who took the time to email me last week while I was having surgery. It was great to come on today and see so many people who dont know you but definitely care -just a two minute response means so much. I am so glad that I took the plunge-sure I'm tired, sore and uncomfortable- but I am already seeing changes. I have the opposite problem with cold that most of you experience-I am hot all the time. They even got me 2 fans in the hospital so I would be comfortable. Also I cannot tolerated any pain meds without a lot of nausia-so I'm pretty much on my own-just some tylenol3. Any suggestions for this hot mama-lol

Believe me, Elaine, you will cool down - you'll be colder than you can believe! Glad to hear you are doing well -- you probably don't need a stronger pain killer than the Tylonal 3 now - so you should be pretty comfortable. Keep us posted. God Bless, Kathy

Elaine! Yay! You're on the othe side with us! I'm glad to hear you're OK. I was thinking about you on your day. I look forward to hearing more about how you're doing, when you're feeling well enough. Take care, rest & heal. BIG hugs, Lisa

Elaine, So glad to hear you are doing so well! It's so true, the heat wave ends and then the cold hands and toes set in.....especially in CT! I can't wait until summer to actually wear shorts and a lifetime dreaded bathing suit!! Congratulations, and please keep us updated on your progress! Cheryl
