What's next?

Hi everyone, I hope you are doing well today. Yesterday I made a unplanned visit to my doctor. I have some sort of infection at the bottom of my incision. It is swollen and leaking. I also have some very painful swollen glands on my right side of my of my windpipe. To turn my head, swallow or take a deep breath hurts. So my doctor gave me a prescription for Levanquin 500 mg. I took one last night around 6:00 pm, ohboy! instant dizziness and nausea. I'm still pretty nauseaous today, so I don't know how I'm going to be able to take this medicine. I am scared now, this infection has got to go away. I was thinking of asking my doctor if I could take the penicillin by injection. I got my nails done yesterday, and a facial. Since the surgery I spend a couple of hours a day at the mall, it gets me out of the house and takes my mind off of things.

Have you called your doctor? Cuz there are so many antibiotics out there. I think a lot of people get wound-site infections, so you're not alone. I treated myself yesterday, post-dr. appointment, to getting my hair cut & colored, along with a manicure & mini-facial. I figured after everything I've been through I deserve it!!! Hang in there.
