Want to meet new friends?

Just in case you haven't heard . . . We're having a social get-together! Here's your chance to meet all the wonderful people of CT who post on these boards! Mark your calendars for 11:00, Saturday March 20th. We'll have a pot-luck and a clothing exchange. We're meeting in East Windsor. If you're interested in attending, please email me at [email protected] and I will sending you the specifics and directions. If you're post-op, plan on bringing your favorite pouch-friendly meal or dessert. If you're pre-op, we'd like you to bring the paper goods and/or drinks, i.e., Crystal Lite, Water! I wish I could come!! My boyfriend planned a weekend away in Newport that weekend -- he's put up with so much!! Question: I have a bunch of clothes I'd love to donate to the clothing exchange. Is there a place I can mail them before the party, or is anyone in the Fairfield County/Western New Haven County area who I could meet up with & deliver the clothes to? Just curious... Hi Kathleen, Well, I'm sorry you won't be at the get-together, but Newport is sooo nice! We'd love to get the clothes - what size are they? I go to Dr. Bell's support group the 1st Tuesday of every month - its at Yale, in New Haven. I really don't know if that is Western New Haven County or not (I'm from East Windsor), but if that is convenient for you, we could meet before the next meeting starts (around 5:30 or so).
