CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW MANY ONCES IS YOUR POUCH

IAM HAVING SURGERY IN 4 WEEKS MY DOCTOR IS GIVING ME 1 ONCE POUCH.BUT ALOT OF PEOPLE SAY THEY HAD 3 ONCES POUCHS. CAN U PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THE RIGHT ANSWER.

Hi Sandra - My surgeon also uses a 1 ounce pouch. I believe that you'll find most surgeons do. The pouch will stretch over time, but studies have shown that starting with a 1 ounce pouch has been the most effective. Good luck!!! I'm about 5 weeks away...see you on the 'losing' side!! Hugs, Carla

Hi Sandra, my surgeon also uses a 1 ounce pouch as it is the most effective for long term wt loss. It will stretch. I am 9months out as of Friday and down 103lbs. I will keep you in my thoughs and prayers, you will do fine! Make sure you get up and walk asap and keep a positive attitude. Also, make sure you that special 'something' before you go for surgery, just follow your doctors advice and you will do fine! Best wishes, Mary
