Those Lady Vols.......bit the dust

Hey Gang, Well I am a happy camper . The UCONN Women beat those dreaded Lady Vols from Tennessee and now should be Number One again in the polls. Love that Things are going pretty well. I am still hitting the gym regularly and now have a work out plan thanks to a friend of mine who is very knowledgeable and is sort of acting as my personal trainer consultant. Still no problems with any food that I have eaten. I seem to get in enough protein most days without a supplement so I only use it when I don't think I will get enough in with food. I am going into NYC on Wed to see the Producer's with Nathan Lane and Mathew Broderick!!! I am sooooo psyched. I am also curious to see how I fit in the seats. I was so uncomfortable back in June when I saw Hairspray that I vowed I would never put myself through that again. I will let you know how it goes. Mary Lou is going to Gaylord Rehab hospital tomorrow. I am so glad. She is very bored in the hospital and is anxious to get working on her rehabilitation. I will keep you all updated. I do have a confession to make........yep... I am out of control. I have become a worse shopaholic than ever (if that is possible). I am having so much fun buying smaller sizes that is difficult to control myself. Have a good one........... Linda

Hey Linda, What a great game!!! Jeesh I just can't stand anything about that team.Have a wonderful time in NYC!! Do you have any idea how long they think Mary Lou will be in Gaylord? The other thing, it would be good to post the address for Gaylord and maybe do a group trip to visit her once she is settled.I imagine she must be going a bit stir cazy by now. Carol

Hey Carol, It was a great game......... I will post more info on Mary Lou once I know her room number etc. I would be great if people could send her some cards or visit. Good Morning! That WAS such a great game!! I feel so bad for Diana the way she gets banged up! I am always amazed at how she handles it. We all feel like her adopted parents at work and we always talk about how she get**** and pushed.....like she's OURS!! lol Staying home safe today. I am afraid I won't get back up our "mountain" if I try to make it in. We live in the "snow belt" here in Burlington. It looks like it's just pouring down out my window this morning. Linda, you are so funny. I love your attitude. Women after my own heart. I have such a collection of bras and slacks that I can't seem to get right with size! Everytime I try on a pair of slacks, I look in the mirror and think yeah, these are smaller they fit. Then I wear them for a day and they are so baggy by the end of the day! So I'll have LOTS to share in March!! I'll leave the bras at home though, yuk! I am going to post this great poem I received from a NYC WLS friend of mine, it's great.
