4 Days and counting
Elaine,
Good luck on the 9th!! I will be thinking of you. The only way to fail on with this is if you don't follow directions. You will lose weight in the beginning whether you want to or now... I can't imagine you not wanting to. After the initial weight loss which is substantial it will be up to you to make wise choices of what you put in your mouth, exercise, take your vitamins etc. and of course drink. You will have ups and downs but you will succeed if you truly want to. We are here for you and will answer any questions we can and just be here to listen when needed. Welcome to our family.......

Elaine, I can't think of one person that I know that has had this life saving surgery that hasn't felt the way you do right now including me. I thought I'll be the only one it doesn't work for. But it does work, if you keep your protein and activity up. You let your body work for you. Sometimes you will slow down or hit a plateau and then like me come here and whine about it, get encouragment, or a needed kick in the butt and move on. But you WILL lose weight!!!
Best of luck to you
Cheryl
Hi Elaine,
Glad you posted to the board! Just like everyone else said - you will succeed if you follow your surgeon's advice. This is a wonderful tool - it really works when you work at it!
It was great meeting you yesterday - and I look forward to hearing about your progress.
God Bless,
