Patricia, Beofre I had my WLS (11/19/03) I was constantly having hot flashes. Since - I am freezing all the time. Especially my hands. I am not sure why, but I think it may have something to do with the WLS. Vicki

Patricia, I read an article on this web-site, about being cold all the time. I has something to do with the low fat diet post-op. There was a great article about everything from energy levels, sleeping, being cold etc. I think it was in Dec. Cathy

Hi, I'm one week out just like you. I used to be sweating constantly, now my hands do get cold, but it depends on how tired I am. Since my body is living off of reserve energy it doesn't have the fuel right now to keep me as warm as it used to. But that sweating was embarrassing, ruined my clothes, decreased my self confidence. Don't worry about cold hands. How are otherwise?
