I can't believe I did it!
It was actually me sliding down the hill with my two boys today! Amazing - I haven't done that in many, many years.
The great part was I had the energy to keep going! Must have gone up and down at least a dozen or more times! I felt like a little kid - instead of a middle-aged, fat lady! LOL!
Just had to share - I really had a blast! Plus, it was great exercise!
God Bless,

Hey Cheryl,
No - no cardboard box - a tube (I needed the cushion)!
I have 3 children - a daughter who will be 23 yrs. in 2 weeks; a son who will be 5 yrs. at the end of March, and a son who is 28 mos. My husband and I adopted the two boys from Russia in April of 2002.
One of the reasons I had the surgery was so I could do stuff like this with the boys - I can't believe how wonderful it felt - I felt like a little kid, and I definately had as much fun as they did!
I knew you would all relate!
God Bless,
Kathy
Hi Kathy, I know how you felt, I did that on Martn Luther King with my granddaughter. We went to Hemingway school in Watertown. We used plastic sliders, they worked great. Sometimes we went together sometimes we went alone. But we were so proud of each other for going down the hill. You are blessed with two young boys, you will be busy for the next 20 years! Although I am large I never lost my zest for enjoying childhood activities, swimming, biking, hiking, canoeing, sledding, etc.. Thank you for responding to my post on Friday when I came home from the hospital. Enjoy your life It's not about eating it's about Living!
God bless,
Susan
