Help

I had my surgery on Monday the 26th and today the drain that I had is still draining. Is this normal? Can anyone help. Patty

Hi Patty, Do you still have the drain in or is it just the drain site that is still oozing? My drain site oozed for about a week or so after I got out of the hospital. Glad you are home and doing well. Linda

Hi Patty, Doc Bell said in his post op talk with me that draining isnt unusual.He said some people even reuire a sanitary type pad because the drainage can be that heavy.I am having small amounts from 2 sites but am not concerned.All sites look really good overall.I will be glad to take a look if you are concerned.Drink up!!
