Picture

Hi everyone, Well, I finally did it - I posted my picture here! I was the weekend before my surgery and I was at a wedding at the Aqua Turf...best wedding food I ever had so it was good timing! When I got the pictures developed and I saw this I literally started to cry...I knew I was overweight, MO weighing in at 334 and 5'10, but seeing the picture brought tears to my eyes. . I went and had a bunch of pictures prionted and now they're everywhere...in my wallet, on the fridge, on the elliptical I do every night and even on my nightstand. Remebering where I was pre-op is just as important to me as where I end post-op. I have since lost 94 pounds and not only do I feel a whole lot better, but I feel I've made some wonderful friends, even if I'm reading more than posting. Looking forward to meeting you all in a few months...lets hope the weather is warmer by then. -Deb

Deb, Congratulations! I am looking forward to being in a similar position after my surgery next Tuesday. Sounds like you've been pretty successful to have lost soooooo much in that short time. I just put my picture on the board too, but was disappointed to see that they stretched it horizontally to fit the square space and made me look even bigger than I am. Oh well! Hopefully I'll have a new and improved image to post in a few months. I can't wait to see a more recent shot of your new look too. Happy loosing! Lyn

Deb- Keep smiling!! I LOVE the aqua turf and the food there is SO excellent!! 94 pounds is just so awesome, you must feel so much better. Isn't is fun to cross your legs and be able to feel bones you didn't realize existed??? Today I went and bought a fancy bra. Just because I wanted it!! Not because I needed one since I only always had one bra with the thick padded straps to hold the big girls in place. Now I can buy pretty ones!! My days of triple letters are gone!! YIPPEE!! You look familiar to me. I can't wait to meet you too! Cheryl
