Hi -- I'm New

My name's Kathy (haven't posted pictures yet). I live in Bridgeport & had surgery on 11/4 at Lenox Hill in NYC. Unfortunately, I had surgery AGAIN on 11/12 at Bridgeport Hosp. for a leak! Both my dr.'s have been good, but while at Bport. I also got a wound contamination and have had an open wound on my abdomen ever since. It's gotten a lot smaller though!! I just thought I'd put my 2 cents in, because I really don't have anyone to talk to about the everyday stuff that happens post-op. I'm luckily tolerating food pretty well, with the big exception of pasta. Funny, because that was always one of my favorite foods! Guess it's good then that I can't have it. Hi Kathy, Welcome aboard (no pun intended). Sounds like you're not only on the losing side, but also on the recovering side...good for you! I don't post often here but it's my New Years resolution to be better at posting, keeping in touch, etc. Talk to you soon! -Deb
