New WLS baby
Hi everyone! I hope everyone will be staying warm and cozy today, with all the snow that's about to drop here in CT. It's been a while since I've been on here, but I've been busy baking a baby, who finally made her appearance. Olivia Victoria was born on 1/3/04 6.8lbs 18". We call her our peanut. She and I are doing great! We are nursing very well (she's already gained 2lbs and grown almost 2") and I have already lost all my pregnancy weight and am 1lb under what I was before I got pregnant. WOO HOO!!! For anyone who says we cannot have healthy pregnancies after WLS, you can let them know what a bunch of bologna that is. Of course you want to remember not to get pregnant for at least a year after wls. I was 20 months postop when I got pregnant, my weight loss had stabalized and I was eating pretty regularly. Anyone who wants to see a pic of our "Peanut" can check this address. http://www.boomspeed.com/branchbrood/5E0O1S5D2Y_1.jpg Peace and love to all on this journey. Muah!
