Mary Lou Update

Hi Folks, Well I just spoke with Mary Lou. It was a very brief conversation as she is still pretty weak. She is finally out of ICU though. She said she lost alot of blood as one of her insicions openned up. I am not sure when or where this happened as she wasn't clear. She is very thirsty and can't wait to have something to drink. I guess Dr. Bell called in a specialist for that as he doesn't want any fluid to get into her lungs. I know she still has a very very long recovery ahead of her but it was soooooooooo good to actually hear her voice again. Linda

Hi Linda, Its great to hear something positive about Mary Lou for a change!!As you said, it willl be a long haul but I have to figure she has to be pretty courageous and strong to be battling the way she has had to do thus far. On another note,I hadn't taken the time to congratulate you on your progress.You are working so hard,you are trully an inspiration.Down to 4 days for me,whoooooohooo.I am still excited as opposed to nervousness,but the weekend is still ahead of me.Take care, Carol
