Teresa, My surgeon recommended egg drop soup for us to have right after surgery. He even included a recipe for egg drop soup in the informational packet that he gave to all of us. Its one of the first things that I ate after surgery that really went down well and I continue to enjoy it now at 8 months out. (You can make it at home so that you know what's going in to it.) I love Chinese Soups... YUM!
