Hello Folks, Well I just wanted to share with you . I have hit my first big milestone!! I have lost 50 pounds!!!! . Yep, me, I did that....... I was at a real stand still for a few weeks as you all know but then this week it sort of just melted off. Still in shock here. The other thing I did was have my first chinese food in over 2 months. That is significant for me who has always been a chinese food addict. I usually had it a couple of times a week. I had a tiny bit of the broth and some of the roast port strips from the wonton soup that my mother ordered. Then I had two small spare ribs. I then had some shrimp with cashew nuts. All stayed down and tasted soooo good. I still don't know if I dump as I haven't tried anything with really concentrated sugar. I know there must have been some in the sauce on the ribs but I only had 2 small ones and there is so little of anything on them. That's okay I have no interest (yet) in testing my dumping abilities (or lack thereof). I haven't heard anything further from Mary Lou's sisters but I know she is still in ICU becaue I called the hospital. I know she has a long road to recovery and will need all our support. Today there are two UCONN games on so you all know where I will be!! This is a great weekend because there are another 2 on Monday (MLK Day). HOO HAH. Cold weather and UCONN Basketball........what more can a girl ask for......:lo: Well I am off to do my Walk Away the Pounds tape. I do that when I don't go to the gym. Have a great day everyone. Good luck to all you newbees and just know life gets soooo much better. Linda

Linda, You deserve a Pu Pu platter for that milestone!!! I can so relate to the chinese food, I was the same, at least twice a week. I miss it!!! but I think I will wait another month before venturing there. 50 pounds has got to be so exciting, your hard work paid off!! Keep it up Deb

Congratulation Linda I love the Walk Away the Pounds tape also.....did it both before surgery and am doing it now on the days I don't go to the gym. I envy you that you can eat Chinese.......I can't unless I make it my self and use splenda instead of sugar, I love the flavor of allmost all chinese dishes. You got every reason to be proud of your self with that great weightloss, hope to see a picture of you soon!1 Hugs from Tove

Hi Cheryl, Yeah they were great games and I am looking foward to another two on Monday!! . I just hope they both win this time. Anyway I got my tapes from my niece actually however I have seen them at Sam's Club or BJ's or Costco's. They have them as sets there with the bonus of either the weights or the bands. I have also seen the tapes at Stop and Shop but they are sold individually (cheaper at the wholesale places). There are 3 tapes in the set. I have actually seen a 4 mile DVD but haven't bought that. No room where my DVD player is to do it. I am not sure I could do the 4 mile yet anyway. I know you can go on line to Leslie Sansone's website to purchase them or Amazon.com or Barnes and Noble etc. but I think the wholesale clubs have them the cheapest. I think you will enjoy them. I have some other friends who just bought them and are enjoying them also. Linda

Linda! Also, I can relate to the chinese food. That will be the food that I most look forward to! BTW, would egg drop soup be considered a stage II food ? Teresa
