I spoke to Mary Lou today!!!

Hi Gang, Mary Lou's sister called me this afternoon and put Mary Lou on the phone . She is still in intensive care but off the respirator and was able to talk to me for a few minutes. It was so good to hear her voice even if it was all scratchy. She misses her . I told her how you all have been calling and emailing and posting and praying for her. She was awed that you all care so much for her. I didn't get any specifics but I think she will be in intensive care for another few days but she is on the mend now!! Cheryl I told her she didn't miss much by missing the Duke Game . So anyways keep those prayers and good thoughts going so our girl can get out of that damn hospital and stay out!!! Linda

Linda, You answered my prayers tonight. I signed on just to see if there was a Mary Lou update and there it is!!! Thank you for keeping us posted. There is just so much that can go wrong with this surgery and so much that can go right. YALE is one of the best so I know she is in good hands. Of course I am partial to UConn....lol I am watching the game right now, they still don't have that great aggression, but they're winning!! An exciting Men's game last night too! My little one is still on the mend, the meds were making her real sick so now she is taking compazine. Poor kid. She is dieing to get back on the court. Linda, I hope you are feeling a little better too and not going on that scale every day.....just keep doing what your doing! You are such a great angel. love Cheryl
