5 Day Pouch Test
I have recently received an email newsletter from Kaye Bailey from livingafterwls.com
One of the topics of her newsletter was testing the pouch to see if it is still working as it should.
She has even created a separage site for this topic.

It has been 3 yrs for me and I have had much success.
I do wonder at times if my pouch is working optimally still.
I do remember the early days of "I can't eat another bite!"
More often than not now, I feel hungrier than I would like to.
I am not perfect (what?!!!)
(perfection is no longer an option for me as I have learned to live in a Grey World rather than a Black and White World.)
For me, this is a balancing act that needs continual attention.
Not too much control... not too little.
So I thought.. hmmm... why not test the pouch out... get it back in fighting shape.
I don't want to be one who slips and slides back into obesity.
I and a coworker (fellow bypasser) will be starting the pouch test this coming Monday.
I will let you all know how it goes and if it works.

It is so great to see how far Kayes reach is and how she is inspiring so many to use the tool of wls to itsfullest advantage! I am a foundation member of LAWLS Livingafterwls.com and recommend it highly for its support, info, friendships and inspirations like the 5DPT. Best of luck to you and your coworker with it!!

Buffy:
For me the 5DPT was a challenge. But I planned it out and stuck to it 95%.
It did get me back to more protein and my supps.
It made me more mindful for sure.
It was not good for my coworker. More struggle for him.
One day at a time... baby steps.
So do you think it is worth the $$ to join Kaye's group?
I think she is an intelligent and well informed gal.
What are the benefits outside of what you said above?
