I know there are some avid UConn fans here on this board. Linda, I KNOW you are!! I was almost in tears yesterday when they lost. I just felt for the girls with the looks on thier faces. My 14 year olds surgery is tomorrow for her knee but she went to her game yesterday. Her coach is real good friends with Geno A. and he was trying to listen to the game. My daughter said his whole mood changed when he heard they lost. Honestly, they gave it to them, they could have won so many times. They couldn't inbound and when pressed they didn't know what to do. But as a UConn employee and die hard fan, I am keeping my crying towel handy today. I know this is WAY off topic....but I also know I have lots of company! boohoo Cheryl

Cheryl, You know that I am crying right along with you !! I couldn't believe it. If I didn't see it with my own eyes I wouldn't have believed it happened. They beat themselves but maybe that is a good thing. All those records etc. need to be kept more under control. All that pressure is not a good thing. I am glad their one loss (and I know it will be only one loss) came now instead of the Big East Tourney like last year. I am so psyched to be going to the Final Four where I know I will be and for our Huskies as they take the title once more...... from my mouth to God's ears!! Linda PS...Mary Lou is a huge UCONN fan also. She will be devestated when she hears about that game.
