Monday Morning!

Good Morning everyone!! Well, today both my husband and eldest daughter went to NYC for the day. I am home with my 14 year old. I have written about her and her meniscus tear from basketball. (My little Diana Taurasi) lol Anyway, she is in a great deal of pain, on crutches, and has a tough time getting around. We went to the movies yesterday to see Mona Lisa Smile and it was wonderfully done. I went to school up there so it was a treat for me too. Anyway, people kept on starring at her and she felt so uncomfortable. When we got in the car I told her that I used to feel the same way, people would stare at me and shake thier heads because I was so huge. I would always hear that "you have such a pretty face line" grrr I always felt uncomfortable and hated going out. Know what this angel said? Mom, you never seemed fat to me, I never understood why you wanted this surgery, but seeing how happy you are now I understand. I will have to update my profile picture again soon, maybe I'll have one taken with my leather jacket on!! Cause I look like a cool Mom now! lol Life is just so much easier to handle, all the bumps in my road seem easier to bear. I love the support of this site. I hear from so many of my friends that they hate thier state sites and I always brag about ours! If there's anyone out there needing an ear, I am only an email away! love Cheryl
