Barba Lap Band Patients????????????

Is here anyone who has used Dr. Barba for the lapband procedure? I would like to know how it went. What was the 1st appointment like with him? How long after that appointment did you have surgery scheduled? Any info would help. Thank you all.

Hi Joanne- I had Dr. Barba for Lap RNY and from the time I went to one of his informational meetings, and had all of my pre-op appointments completed, to the date of surgery it was approx. 11 months. My surgery went great and I was out of the hospital on day three. I initially found the wait very discouraging but Dr. Barba was well worth it! He is a wonderful surgeon and his bedside manner is awesome as well. He will take all of the time needed to answer your questions and address your concerns. Good luck-you are in great hands! Lisa D.
