I need to ask you all a big favor!!

Hey Gang, I need to ask you all a big favor . Most of you know Mary Lou and know how supportive of everyone she is but what you probably don't know is that she has been having a string of problems and is beginning to get very discouraged. The latest is that she is going to have to have her Gall Bladder removed on Monday. Yes, first the embolism and then the ulcer and now the gall bladder. She has been doing great in the weight loss arena but really has not felt well long enough to enjoy her success. I know she is going to kill me for this post but I just know that all your your good wishes and support will really cheer her up. I know I can count on all of you. Thanks in advance........ Linda

First of all, Linda Wasserman you really ARE an angel!! What a nice thing to do. Mary Lou, these bumps in the road may seem huge right now, and for sure discouraging. Just like the many diets we tried without success before this surgery. But you can make it through this. Each day look for just one thing to brighten your day. If you can find one thing, then you can find two. Come to the board read and then post to surgery pages. You can really find yourself feeling better when you give back to others. We will all help you in anyway we can. If you need to just complain or just need to talk, please feel free to email me privately and I will try to help. Mary Lou, I'm so sorry to hear that you need to go through another surgery. However, know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers, and I am sure you will come through this like the trooper you are. Mary Lou, Hang in there, hon. I know it's rough. Be strong, you'll come through just fine. There are times whey we ask, why me? Can I possibly take any more? I know, I've been there. But, it is said that that which does not break us makes us stronger. I believe that God never gives us any more than we can handle. Miss Linda, you're right I am going to kill you just kidding of course. What would I do without you and all of the other members of this support group. I know I will be ok, I trust Doctor Bell totally. Its just kind of scary when you go to the ER so much you begin to know the employees by name I told Dr Bell the other day we have to stop meeting like this!!! I'll just have to pick myself up and dust myself off and start all over again. Thank you to all who have sent their well wishes, it really does mean so much to me.
