Hello Everyone , Just had to tell you that I did the 2 mile Walk Away the Pounds Tape today. . That's 30 minutes of aerobic walking Who would believe that not only did I do the two miles but that I have been walking away the pounds every morning before work. That in itself is an accomplishment for me . Things are going well. The scale is stuck but I am not stressing. I know I am watching my calories, getting in my fluids and protein and exercising so it is only a matter of time. Want to wish you all a very happy and healthy holiday season. May all your wishes and dreams come true and may you stay away from all the holiday goodies (no matter which holiday you celebrate or don't). I am making another of Susan Maria's Pineapple Cheesecakes to bring with me to a party on Saturday. I am having my extended family over for Hanukah but not until the 27th. I have found some great recipes to make for the main meal that I will be able to eat. Of course the rest of them only want the potato pancakes (latkes)!! I will be frying them up but hopefully won't be tempted to eat them . Linda

Hi Linda! Wow!!! Good for you on your exercising! That is a great accomplishment!!! You must feel really good! Keep up the good work! it must be so gratifying to be able to do things that were so hard to do before or that you were unable to do. Just keep doing what your doing and I am sure the pounds will keep melting away, sometimes they get stuck but when you finally do drop some maybe it will be more (all at once) Hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday as well! Thanks for giving us all so much support on here! Today I am opening my "bake" shop as I call it, I will be making 10 different types of cookies, I am actaully cutting it down from what I usually make for family and friends. It will be my "last" Christmas before I go on the "other side" I have alot of friends that celebrate Hanukah! Those potatoe latkes are "killer" Yummy , I am making some Rugelach for my friends this weekend, those are killer as well! Take care and Happy Holidays! Hugs MaryJo

Mmmm, potato pancakes -- one of my favorites! But, I can't even imagine how the grease would feel in my pouch (ouch)! Great news on the walking - isn't it great! I move so much quicker now than before -- I've been getting in 15 mins. each day on the treadmill, and I'm sure I could start going even longer! Its a great feeling. Keep up the good work. God Bless, Kathy Bilodeau

Linda! Good for you! That is great 2 miles? I remember my first ah-ha moment my first few weeks back atwork after surgery, everyone wanted to go outside for lunch. Well, they all walked back up 3 flights of stairs to our office and when I went I could breath normal. Pre-op I did it and I had to stop a few times on the way up and my knees ached the rest of the day. I hope I never forget the days that lead me here, I think it keeps me motivated to still stay away from sugar and I know during the holidays it will be even harder for me. I had one glass of wine last night and I swear I woke up with a hangover today. I couldn't believe it. ONE glass of wine. I have already had wine and not had this reaction. I wonder if I was just so tired to begin with. Well, enough reading and responding to posts today. I am OFF shopping!! Enjoy the day all my CT buds! Cheryl
