HI ALL YOU CT BEAUTIES!!

Wow, where HAVE I been?? I can't get over how crazy my life can become in a matter of moments!! I haven't been to the boards at all lately and for that, I am sorry..... Linda!! Back at work!! don't you wish we could just be indepentdantly wealthy so we didn't have to work at all?? I work for the State of CT so I know I'll never be!! I'll have good insurance but that's about it! You really sound good though, your posts are so upbeat, I can tell you are doing great!! MaryJo! I am so happy for you too! It's just a matter of time now. Carla-you too! Everyone's getting dates! 2004 is just going to bring the skinnies to the CT board. Kathy- I just saw your post about getting out. I am so happy for you, isn't it great?? Bette- out too? I am so happy we have the best board around! I love our board so much. The positive vibes are the best. Last week I was bumming and I got so many emails I was so happy! My angelette's Kim and Cathy- we just have to get together soon! I found out today my youngest, 14 will probably be having surgery over the vacation. She tore her meniscus playing basketball. She of course thinks she the next Diana Taurasi and is so upset. She won't be out for the season, but will miss a few games. I feel so bad for her. I on the other hand went shopping and bought 2 pair of Liz Claiborne jeans (at tj maxx) and they were size 16. REGULAR size 16. I still seem to go over to the women sizes first. Just force of habit. Sometimes this all still doesn't seem real to me. The bad thing is, I am joing the pancake club in the upper and lower areas if you know what I mean. My butt has never been this flat and from going from 44DD to 38D welll, that's just deflation!! Cheryl, I was wondering what had happened to you..... I was just set to email to you make sure you were okay and then you pop up!!! Please tell your daughter that as much as I love Diana Taursi, I pledge to be her (your daughter) biggest fan when she plays college ball. I didn't realize you work for the State, so do I . What a coinsidence . Going back to work is a good thing since we will never be independently wealthy . The routine is a good thing and helps to get my eating, drinking and exercise in some semblance of order. I think we should try to do a CT get together after the holidays. That would be soooo . Hi Cheryl!!!! So glad to have you back!!!! I was wondering why I had'nt seen your postings on here!!!! Yes, my surgery is just around the corner. I actually switched with my husband so I can go first. So I will be the guinea pig on January 21st! I can't wait!!!!!!!! I am sorry to hear about your daughters injury!!! Hopefully she will be up and rearing to make some of those 3 pointers real soon!!!! and as far as your pancakes go.......don't let it bother you I am sure you look fine!!!!!!! Think about having those pancakes rather than the size you were before surgery! Take care!!! MaryJo

Hi Cheryl, Welcome back - we missed you... Sorry to hear about your daughter, but I'm sure she will bounce right back - young ones usually do. Now - I'm quite impressed - size 16!! Way to go girl! I can't wait until I can squeeze into a 16 again! That is as small as I have ever been as an adult. You can be sure I'll be doing a happy dance that day Congratulations. God Bless, Kathy
