Postop Baby Update

all, It's been a while since I've been on here. I'm loving the new digs. I thought I'd give everyone a quick update on my pregnancy. I'm now 37.6 weeks pregnant w/a due date of 12/27. My pregnancy has been wonderful. I've gained approx. 25lbs and my blood work is great. Although, my other two pregnancys (at over 300lbs) were uneventful and uncomplicated, I never enjoyed the experience of looking like a "real" pregnant woman and getting maternity clothes. It was always baggy shirts and stretch pants for the duration. This time I was able to purchase some fashionable outfits and look wonderful. I have a beautiful pregnant silhouette and have loved every minute (okay almost every minute) of this pregnancy. Gastric bypass not only gave me a gift of life, but it has given me the gift of so many experiences which I would have missed out, had I not made the decision to have it over 2 years ago. Dear Lisa, I'm so glad to hear that you are doing good.....I remember that when I first joined the boad it was allways very helpful to read your post. I can't wait to hear about the new little one, do you know if it's a boy or a girl?? I hope you will share a photo of the little new one.........who know he/she might come to join this world either on Cristmas or New Year, but no matter what day it will be I'm sure it will be a bundle of joy for the family.
