UTI
Ouch, I have a urinary tract infection! I'm sure I got it from the catheter.
Yale responded to my call within 20 minutes, and took immediate action to be sure I could get a liquid medicine. Hopefully we've caught it in time - and it will just get better from here.
Otherwise, I'm doing well - tired some , cause of the medicines, but pretty darn good
I'm still really, really glad I had the surgery - I have a new, improved life to look forward to.
God bless everyone,
Kathy Bilodeau
Well, I suppose the catheter they used in the hospital could have taken the train! LOL I certainly got mine from that nasty ole' catheter.
I've had a few bladder infections before, so I recognized this pretty quickly, thank God. I would not have wanted it to be in full force before I got the meds!
BTW - the liquid Cepro is NASTY - I try everything I can to get the taste out of my mouth after having to take it. Plus, you can only take it 2 hours before or 6 hours after your vits. and calcium. That's pretty tough - I need to take it first thing in the morning, wait 2 hours for my vits., wait another 1/2 hour for the calium - and in-between all that, figure out when to start and stop my fluids around my "eating" the Ensure or Slim Fast. Its really hard to figure it all out - I have to keep track on paper, or forget it!
God Bless,
Kathy Bilodeau
I hope both of you get over this real quick.......the meds should clear it up pretty quick and you are kind of lucky you are still on pain meds so you can't feel too much pain (I hope). I also feel for you with the bad medecine taste I allways have a little glas of Pink lemonade (crystal light) ready to chase after with.
Prayer for the both of you, hugs from Tove
