I'm Home and I'm Well
I got home last night - a 2 hour ride home from New Haven to East Windsor. Boy was it nice to be at home.
I have the most wonderful surgeon in the world! If you don't feel that way about your surgeon - than find another. My biggest complaint after the surgery is that I was thirsty! Pretty good I go through major surgery, and my biggest complaint is that I'm thirsty, someone did something right!
Thanks to everyone who prayed - that made the biggest difference in the world. And thanks to my angels Linda Wasserman and Cheryl.
I also had the priveledge to have 2 wonderful visits at the hospital from recent post-ops - Linda and Kathy M. I really, really appreciated your visits - you are both a constant encouragement and support!
God Bless you all.

Welcome Home Kathy!! I am so glad to hear you are ok. That storm was awful huh? Here in Burlington (in the boonies) we are still getting it pretty badly.
I remember when I first got home, ice chips were my best friend!! I just kept a cup near me all the time and since they took awhile to melt they didn't upet my new pouch.
Take it slow my friend, and keep in touch
love

Welcome Home Kathy!! I am so glad that you made it home safe and sound. I am sure it was a relief to be home even though I know you were concerned about going home too soon with the boys but I am sure you will be fine. It was so great to meet your wonderful family. You are truly blessed. I know you will do just fine and if you have any questions or just want to talk you know where I am. Can't wait to hear your progress. Take care and enjoy........
Hi Kathy, Welcome home and welcome to the loosing side. A wonderful journey awaits you. I couldn't agree with you more about your surgeon since I had the same one. He's the best and such a sweetheart.
I'm sending wishes for a smooth recovery and hope that each day brings you closer to your goal.
If you have any questions, we're all here for you. Sorry I didn't get to meet you at the support group, their were so many people. Hope to see you at the next one.
Best wishes, Mary Lou
