clock is ticking to a new life
Well, it is Monday Dec. 1st at 9:30am. I need to be at Middlesex Hospital at 11:30 and it's a one hour drive. This is my final hour home before surgery at 1:40pm. This is the appropriate place for me to be during that final hour. I am incredibly calm, (to my surprise). I was able to see my boys off to school and it should be a pretty good day for them seeing that the surgery isn't until the end of their school day. They will come up to the hospital this evening with their dad providing I'm in my room at a reasonable hour.
Everyone has been so amazing throughout this whole journey. Family, friends, co-workers and the 165 students I teach at a parochiol school. I know I have plenty of prayers. My husband and boys are my life and I can not wait to become a more "active" part of their lives.
I especially want to thank all of you who have sent so many warm wishes and prayers. You made this journey a very positive experience. I strongly feel that I am calm and relaxed because of my experience here at this site. You are an amazing group of individuals. Thank you.
I do not have an angel so it may be several days before I post again, but believe me , you will be hearing from me.

You are in great hands w/Dr. Aranow. I wish you the blessings of a swift uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery...

I know you won't be seeing this, and I wish the date had not crept up on me so quickly. I would have liked to talk to u yesterday morning.
I'm attending the seminar with Dr. Aranow tonight, so I will drop in on you if u feel like having visitors.

Well.. I ended up having to take the kids with me to the seminar, and I had to get them home, so I wasn't able to pop in, and I apologize. I hope all is well and hope to hear from u soon.
BTW, Dr. Aranow was great & I made my first appt. with him for Dec. 17th. I am so glad that God or fate intervened and I met you.
