This may be a silly question to everyone- i guess im just new at this and the WLS ermonology- but what is an angel that i hear people needing??

Hi Kim - an angel is generally a post-op who offers one-on-one support and guidance to a pre-op just before, during, and after surgery.  I was so lucky to have Denise Arscott as my angel and we happened to be in the hospital at the same time - Denise had her TT at the same time I had my gastric bypass surgery so we literally were able to walk the halls together. I credit Denise for much of my success and am grateful for her friendship.  When and where is your surgery? Maureen

Oh okay thanks for the clarification! Thats an awesome idea!! And that is soo cool you guys could lean on eachother during your time spent at the hospital!! I dont have my surgery date yet- soon i should be getting my pre-op appt where they submit to insurance. I have good insurance since i work for the state so im hoping that it doesnt take long- i heard they are pretty quick with their responses?!Knock on wood!! Anyways- on another note- i love this site i have found it so helpful and everyone is SO supportive you cant find support like this anywhere else where everyone knows what your going through!
