my first message

Hi I'm a newcomer. I just got my sugery date, Dec. 1st. There are lots of nerves attached but excitement also. Your stories have been so inspiring and I'm looking forward to sharing some of my own.

welcome to the CT board...its an awsome place! i live right around the corner from u in Franklin...so we can chat anytime i love email and i had surgery back in June and it has been the best thing i have ever done for myself and i would do it again in a heartbeat!! so good luck and congrats on your december date, we are all here for u so know we are here! take care and keep in touch Karen

Hi Carolyn, I'm a newcomer here also. You and I will be in the hospital at the same time, I have Dr.Aranow also and my surgery will be on December 3rd. I wish you a smooth surgery and speedy recovery. I'm nervous too, this website had been such a great source of information, its helped me so much in getting answers to so many questions that come to mind. Best Wishes Deb
