Aloha, I am currently trying for surgery my doctor is in RI Dr Rowe he is the one my insurance sent me to. Im waiting for the testing of everything to be done. I need advice on a dietician Im lost to find one and my insurance doesnt cover it. Dr Dean said its okay to find someone in Ct. Can anyone share phone numbers with me, or point me in a direction. I have my sleep study on the 6th and Im on a row getting everything else done. Im having a ruff time with all of it so many emotions. Then yesterday my Rottweiler (Vixen) woke up blind took her to the vet and its official she is. Shes going to be 11 years old but shes my baby. My husband is military and shes always been at my side for many deployments. I have three kids 15 14 and 12 they are having a ruff time with this. We decided on seeing how she handles being blind the vet said shes in no pain and is very healthy. Enough venting but I feel like this site is a extension of family and I cant wait till I met everyone. Love Kim

Kim, If you are a military dependant, your ins should be Tricare Prime. You can make an appt with the nutritionist on Subase. There is also one on the Navy base in Newport RI (which is the one I had to go to because Subase didnt have one at the time.) The Subase hospital number is 694-4100. Goodluck with everything. You might want to check out my profile and see how I did everything, to help give you some ideas. You are seeing a different Surgeon than I did, so keep that in mind. Every surgeon has different requirements. I know you are seeing one already but I highly recommend Dr Robert Bell in New Haven (he is so great). Take care! Ellie http://www.weightlosschronicle.com
