I've completed all my appointments and tests, and got word yesterday that Connecticare has given approval for my surgery. The banding surgery is set for December 2nd.
I'm so excited that I can hardly stand it. Let the new life begin!

My surgery is scheduled for 12/3 -- and my birthday is 12/2! I'll be thinking of you. I'm still waiting for insurance submission/approval, so I can just imagine how excited you must be!

Congratulations on your approval! I am also hoping to have lap band with Dr. Barba, but I don't even get to see the nutritionist until December. I have medicare and medicaid so I can understand how you were nervous waiting for approval. Let us know how it goes!
