Obesity hypoventilation syndrome

I was just wondering if anyone has heard or has Obesity hypoventilation syndrome & narcolepsy. I just got the results back from my sleep study and this is what they say i have. Would anyone happen to have any info that they can share? The treatment they recommended is BiPap. I heard of a CPap. Are they the same thing? thanks

Hi Gigi. I have a BIPap machine. The B-pap's is when the amount of the air you inhale need to be different from the amount of air you exhale. On the B-Pap that can be adjustet unlike the C-pap where the amount you inhale and exhale is the same. Hugs and good luck from Tove
