Losers' Restaurant Review

Jacoby's in Meriden CT is right off RT91 in Meriden. 203-634-3222 - I explained our dietary requirements when I walked in with my wife and another couple. I got a very pleasant smile and a welcome. I was assured that my waitress would take care of me. This restaurant has great steak, but at the time I was not eating beef yet. Since there was baked stuffed sole on the menu, I order the sole - plain with justa baked potato. Someone else in our group ordered the sole as well, as it was described on the menu. She loved it, and I really like mine as well. Thoug I had asked for a small portion, I was served the full portion of fish, just broiled and it was splendid. The check arrived. What a deal. I couldn't believe how well I was treated on price, even though I had a full portion - same size as my friend's. Thank you for the Jacoby's of the world. Loser friendly, and glad to do it. I went there often enough before my surgery, and I will continue to go to Jacoby's as long as they'll have me. Call, ask for one of the family, and let them know you're coming. You won't be disappointed, in fact you'll feel like Loser Gormand! All the Best - Bill
