Well I just found this section of the site. Pretty cool. My name is Ellie and I have a surgery date of October 13th. My husband is Navy and I am the founder of a ghost hunting group in CT called Entity Seekers P.I. I have two cats and a dog, and live out in Groton next to the submarine base. Howdee to you Ellie and welcome to the Connecticut section. My name is Tove and I live in Middletown but when it's warm in the wather I like spending time on Ocean Beach in New London. My surgery is Monday October 6, and I'm getting ready for it by cleaning and arrangeing my home. I wish you all the best with your upcoming surgery and are sending a big hug. Tove

Hi Ellie, I'm from Lisbon, I had lap band surgery 9/16. Feeling pretty good so far! Good luck on your surgery..the 13th is coming quick!! There are some weight loss surgery support groups in the area in case you haven't heard..feel free to email me if you're interested! Take care, Kim

Hey Kim M, Thanks for the heads up. My surgeon is Dr Bell and I have been making new friends with some of his other patients on his message board area. I also have found his support group which is pretty great. I have only been to one but I plan on continuing to go to them after the surgery. Hi Ellie, I now live in the Montville/Oakdale area (not too far from you) but I used to live in Groton. And I still work in Groton and New London, so I'm in your area quite often. I had my surgery on May 14th of this year and have lost over 80 lbs. (Read my profile for more info.) Congratulations on your upcoming surgery on October 13th.
