Hi Everyone, I need some help!!! I'm running out of ideas for good protein choices. Getting bored with my selections and I don't want to fall back to carbs and sugars. Would anyone like to share some of their protein specialties???? I would appreciate any suggestions. I am about 2 months out and am running out of ideas. Thanks so much to everyone. You can post here or can e-mail me at [email protected]. Have a great weekend!!!

Mary Lou, I use a protein supplement called Isopure zero carb pre-mixed drinks. They are not a thick gritty shake, they are fruit drinks (much like drinking Hi-C) and they add 40 grams of protein with all the calories from the protein (160). There are no carbs, no fat, etc. And for an added boost, there is a miniscule amount fo calcium in them. The drinks help me out alot. They are available at most GNC's (I actually order them by the case. Also, I find most seafood excellent sources of protein with low fat and very low carbs, but you probably already know that! Beef Jerky is also really high in protein (as long as you chew chew chew)! Good luck finding more ideas... Callie

Try the GNC High Performance Whey Protein Shake. It is like drinking choc. milk and it is not gritty, lumpy or leave an after taste. It is wonderful. GNC offers different flavors and it has 20 grams of protein in one 8 oz glass. I also mix mine w/skim milk it makes the shake creamery and it also adds protein. Good Luck!
