Support Group Mtg last night!

Wow! I went to the support group meeting last night (Dr. Aranow) and I still can't get over how many people were there! There were a couple I recognized from the May orientation and lots of great success stories. Thank goodness for this site- I knew the answers to lots of questions people had and I was so pleased to hear the answers to the questions I asked. I stayed after and asked the nurse about scheduling my surgery and how probable it would be to work with my June vacation and she, too, thought it would work out! I'm so happy and excited to be one step further along the way with my journey!!!

Glad to hear you had a great experience and that it looks like you are on track for surgery when you want it! Good for you! I remember being amazed at how many people were at those meetings too! If you don't mind me asking...Who ran the meeting? Who was the nurse that you spoke to about the date?
