Hi guys, I need your help/suggestions on this one..... I went for my upper GI pre-op testing yesturday and they saw something abnormal, so they took a biopsy, what the heck could it be? Cancer? ulcer? Has anyone experienced this? The results from the biopsy will not be in untill friday, now I'm scared sh--less, I have no major co-morbidities , I thought this is another chance to make a fresh new start, the question is Will I be granted another chance if something majorly is wrong with me? ............................................................

Jay~~ I don't know what it could be, but let me tell you that WLS has saved the lives of many people. Since we have to have all this preop testing, many people have found things out abou their health that they had no idea of. Because of the testing they were diagnosed and still went on to have their WLS. Don't look at this as a bad thing, look at this as the first gift WLS is giving you, finding out about a potential problem now and being able to fix it. Please keep us updated. Mega hugs and muahs!!

Hey Jay Really, try not to worry I had the same thing happen my physician called it a pollup (not sure if I spelled it right). My physician also took a picture from inside my stomach and showed my. She didnt seem to worried at the time but you do wonder what it is. I gave a good feeling its the same as mine. I had my surgery on June 9th, doing good from 338 to 322. The best of luck to you in your surgery and your new life Lori Trombley
