I have very limited strength, it seems like I cant grip things like I used to, I had have my son open up a jar for me the other day.  Is this common with WLS, I am getting worried!

There is a post on the board from 8/20 on Guillian Barre Syndrome.  The symptoms you are describing sound very similar--but then I do not play a dr. on tv or the radio :) Seriously, I would contact your PCP and as well as your surgeon. All the best, Carol D.

Hi - I don't know if it's common but was wondering if you had your one year follow up with the doctor and asked him this question? Have you had your blood work done lately? How much strength have you lost, just a little or a lot? If you are getting worried, I highly recommend calling up your doctor, there's nothing like a good talk with a good doctor to put your mind at ease. Hopefully it is nothing to worry about - my prayers are with you that all is well and there is a simple explanation like maybe you need to up one of your vitamin supplements.............

I'm sure you'll get some good insight from others here but please keep us posted!
Warm Regards - Tammy -

Check in with your doctor and get your bloodwork done.  This could be a number of things, including anemia and dangerously low iron.  Remember, we will always have malabsorption issues. See your doctor. Maureen
