Hi Louise, I'm not sure about the milk, I know you can add powdered milk, but some people find they become lactose intolerant. I would try it and see how your pouch feels. Hi Louise, My nutritionist recommends mixing the protein powder with Lactaid 100. Due to the chance of developing Lactose intolerance the Lactaid will give you the extra protein without Lactose. The unused portion of the stomach remains and continues to produce gastric acid and digestive enzymes that are secreted into the portion of the intestine that is connected at the "y" It helps in the digestion of the food down in the intestines.
